Terms of Use

1. Introduction and Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using Tintera(“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App. The App is fully playable without an account; an optional Apple or Google sign-in is available for cloud-saving your progress.
2. Eligibility, Age, and Parental Consent
The App is designed for a general audience. If you are not of legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have a parent or guardian's supervision and consent to use the App and, if applicable, to sign in or make any in-app purchase; using the App Store's or Google Play's own parental control settings is recommended for younger users.
3. License and Intellectual Property
The App and its content (design, code, artwork, and branding elements) belong to Tintera's developer or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. These Terms grant you only a limited, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use — no ownership right is created.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to reverse-engineer the App, use cheats, bots, or unauthorized third-party software, use the App for any unlawful purpose or to infringe others' rights, or interfere with the App's infrastructure.
5. In-App Purchases and Advertising (Monetization)
The App does not contain pay-to-win mechanics. It currently offers rewarded video ads (an optional way to earn in-game rewards such as Gems or extra moves) served through Google AdMob, using Google's own published test ad units at this time. In-app purchases are planned but not yet available; when introduced, they will be processed through the App Store's or Google Play's own purchase system, and refunds will be subject to that platform's policy.
6. Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party services such as Google Firebase and Google AdMob. These services are subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their outages or errors. The Terms of the store platform through which you obtained the App (Apple App Store / Google Play) also apply.
7. Accounts and Data
Signing in is entirely optional. If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, you are responsible for the security of that external account. Your level/star progress, Gems balance, booster inventory, and quest state are stored in the cloud, associated with your account, only while you remain signed in — you may request deletion of this cloud data at any time via support@playtintera.com. If you never sign in, your progress exists only on your device and cannot be recovered if the App is uninstalled.
8. Modification, Suspension, and Termination
We may update, modify, suspend, or remove the App or any part of it from the store without prior notice, and may terminate your use if you violate these Terms, to the extent permitted by law. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
The App is provided “as is”, without warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or from any third-party service's behavior; our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App, if any.
10. Complaints, Dispute Resolution, and Governing Law
Please contact us first at support@playtintera.com with any complaints. These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION — TO BE CONFIRMED BY THE DEVELOPER], without regard to its conflict of laws principles, and these Terms do not limit any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
11. General Provisions
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect (severability). These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy they reference, constitute the entire agreement between us. Our failure to enforce a right does not waive it.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time; updates take effect as soon as they are posted on this page. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
